It is with heavy hearts we inform you of the passing of our brother
Thomas (Tommy) Lake Van Dusen
on May 19, 2022 at the age of 70.
Tom was loved dearly by parents Tom and Eva (both deceased),
sister Jacquie (deceased)(Dewayne), brother Vernon (Jayne), aunt Lucy (deceased) with whom he shared a special relationship,
nieces Shawna of Vernon, Tania (Will) of Montana, nephews Josh (Kyla) of Vernon, Kyle (Michelle) of Edmonton and Derek (Amber) of Edmonton, all of whom shared a special bond with this loving tender soul.
A special thank you to Mary Lynn & Garry Lester for all your love and care for Tom.
Tommy lived his life to the fullest not letting hardships or challenges alter his course of moving forward with determination
and dignity through his strength of character.
Tommy lived his last 40 years in Bellville, Ontario where he enjoyed immensely his volunteer work at Belleville General Hospital.
A service he performed for more than 20 years with pride and dedication.
Tom lived the last 10 years of his life at Hastings Manor Long Term Care facility where he thoroughly enjoyed the many interactions with both staff and residents. For as much as he loved his time there it was the compassion, caring and companionship of all the staff and residents that made his time there special. For that we will always be grateful.
Tom will be laid to rest at the Wellington Cemetery.
There will not be a service at this time.
