Little, Max

Donald Maxwell “Max” Bruce Little

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved father, grandfather and great-grandfather,
at the age of 88, on the morning of August 24, 2024 at Trenton Memorial Hospital.
Our family is very thankful for the incredible treatment and care provided by the doctors and nurses at both
Trenton Memorial Hospital and Trent Valley Lodge.

Max is survived by his three daughters:  Wendy McLean, Tammy Milne (Cameron), and Jody Little-Villeneuve (James).
Max loved and adored his grandchildren:  Tyler, Shane (Jamie), Tae (Brandon), Blair (Jackie), Brian A. and Madison.
Max was also blessed to be a great-grandfather to Brian P., Brooklyn and Elizabeth; as well as a beloved uncle
to his numerous nieces and nephews.

Max was predeceased by his loving wife Sandra (Joyce) Little, his parents Bruce Alexander and Dorothy Edith (Forsythe) Little,
as well as his brothers:  James Alexander Little, Gray Robert Little, William “Bill” Little, and Bruce Alden Little who died in infancy.

Born on November 7th, 1935, Max spent his childhood on the family farm on Old Bay Road in St. Stephen, New Brunswick
with his 3 brothers.  Following service in the Navy, Max remustered into the Army, working with the Military Police.
During his over 20 years with the Canadian military, Max had the opportunity to travel the world. He and his family resided in Ontario, Germany, New Brunswick, Manitoba and Nova Scotia during his years of service.  Following his retirement from DND,
he began a new career with Correctional Services Canada.  Upon his final retirement, Max had 43 years of federal service.

Max enjoyed travelling, golf, swimming, fishing, and loved spending time with family and friends.
We will all miss listening to your wonderful stories and your witty sense of humour.
You were an absolute treasure to our family and will be forever missed and loved.

In lieu of flowers, donations to The Heart and Stoke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
