Gladys Edna Irene Slatter
June 15, 1945 - July 21, 2024
Gladys passed away peacefully at the Belleville General Hospital on July 21, 2024 surrounded by her family.
Beloved wife of Laurence Slatter and mother to children Samara (Greg) and Shaun.
Loving Granny to Nathan and Eric Peters.
Beloved to siblings (Doug & Nina), extended family, friends and neighbours
in Prince Edward County and the Quinte area.
A visitation with the family will be held on Friday, July 26, 2024 at
Ainsworth Funeral Home at 288 Noxon St, Wellington, Ontario from 12:30-2:30 pm.
A Graveside internment ceremony will be held at the Sophiasburgh Cemetery immediately following the visitation.
Gladys was well known for her baking, love of cards & board games and trying her luck at the casino.
She was always ready for a laugh and cherished all the time she spent with her family and friends.
Born in Prince Edward County, Gladys was a longtime resident living on Oram Road until moving to Belleville in 2018.
