Carson, Eldon

ELDON EDWARD CARSON
November 22,1939 - May 24, 2024



After a brief illness, 
Eldon Edward Carson
of Wellington, 
passed away peacefully in his sleep at PEC Memorial Hospital, Picton 
on Friday, May 24th, 2024 
at the age of 84.

Eldon is survived by his children Philip and Sarah. 
He is survived by his brother in-law Arthur Bristow and his many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. 

Eldon was predeceased by his wife Brenda, parents (William) Edward and Maude (Hubbs),
brothers in-law Keith Bigg, Laverne Bigg, Larry Bigg, and Robert Bigg
as well as his sisters in-law Eleanor (Bigg) Bristow, Nancy Bigg, Marion Bigg, Maureen Bigg, and Marlene Bristow.


Eldon grew up in Rosehall at the farm at the end of Carson Road. 
He was well known for his love of sports and his athletic abilities playing ball and hockey. 
He enjoyed spending his time on the water fishing and as most already know, enjoying the shade under the Maple tree. 


Eldon is resting at
Ainsworth Funeral Home, 288 Noxon Avenue, Wellington.   
Visitation to take place on Wednesday, May 29th from 6pm to 8pm.   
A Celebration of Life to be held at the United Church, 243 Main Street, Wellington
on Thursday, May 30th at 11:00 a.m. 
Interment to take place at Wellington Cemetery.
 A reception will immediately follow the Interment at the Elks Hall in Allisonville.
