Lawrence Manley Zilney

Passed away at Hospice Prince Edward 
on October 18, 2023, 
Lawrence Manley Zilney 
of Bloomfield at the age of 78.

Lawrence was born on June 14, 1945, in Cloyne, ON to the late Helen Hartwick and Thomas Zilney.
His Daughter Cathy survives him. One of 9 children, he is survived by his sisters Theressia Fox (late Royden) and Ann Guy (Larry),
sister in-law Dianne Zilney (John) as well as Brother in laws Sammy Hawley and Ron (Susan) Hawley.
Lorne was predeceased by his wife Diane (Hawley) and his beloved son Howard Zilney. Also predeceased by brothers John (Dianne)
and Peter, sisters Lillian (Don Snider), Beverly (Raymond Spencer), Shirley (George Baumhour) and Elizabeth. 

Lorne worked his early years in the lumber industry at Cooper’s Lumber in Bloomfield before his marriage to Diane.
He later worked alongside his father-in-law Herman on the family farm.
He lived his life with grace and hard work.
He will be remembered by his many nieces and nephews.
