He lives on in the memories of his family and friends.
Predeceased by his loving wife of 62 years Molly, (nee Dorland),
his sister, Eunice Bell, and his dear friend, Peggy OBrien.
He is the loving father of Eleanor Stillman (Fowler), Terry Montgomery (Florence Guy),
Jim Montgomery (Catherine) and Rose Montgomery-Whicher (Ian).
As a grandfather who never forgot a birthday,
and who always took an interest in each of their lives,
he will be missed by Terry (Adriana), Anne (Jeremy), David (Nicole), Anthony (Yawen), Madeleine (Mike),
Justine (Jesse), Thomas, Sophia and Christopher.
He will also be missed by his great grandchildren:
Mary, Rodrigo, Priscilla, Owen and Emma
as well as his nieces and nephews.

Scott grew up in Toronto when cars shared the road with horses
and airplanes were uncommon.
He attended St. Andrews College in Aurora and the University of Western Ontario.
He had a successful career in the insurance business.  After graduation, he joined his father at A.H. Montgomery and Co. where he later assumed ownership.  When the company was merged with Lukis Stewart,
a large UK firm, he became a director.
During WWII Scott worked to support international relief with the
Save the Children Fund;
a commitment which he maintained throughout his life.
In retirement Scott and Molly spent happy days entertaining family as well
as gardening at their summer home in Cape Cod.
Their travels included
England, Ireland and Switzerland.
In October, the family gathered with him for a grand celebration of his 100th birthday.

On Friday, November 28 at 1:00 p.m. a
Memorial Service will be held at the
Wellington United Church, Wellington, ON (where Molly is buried).
A reception at the church will follow the graveside farewell.
