Zelda (Judy) Irene Brawley (nee Carter)
Peacefully at Quinte
Gardens Retirement Home, Belleville,
on Tuesday November 18, 2014
in her 94thyear
Zelda, loving wife of the late Edward (Eddie) Francis Brawley.
Predeceased
by her parents Clayton and Nina Carter, brothers Allen, and Edison.
Leaving her brother Goldie Carter and two
sons, Steven, wife Donna, their two daughters Erin and Conner
and three lovely
great granddaughters Briana, Camdyn and Tessa
and son Philip and wife Patricia
and their two sons Adam and Ryan.
Known for her cooking and baking it is estimated she had
made more than 4,200 pies
and an uncountable number of butter tarts for family
and friends.
Zelda was kind loving person and would remind you that things
happen for a reason.
A Celebration of Life will be held
at the Allisonville Hall
(north of Wellington, ON)
on Friday November 28th between 12-2pm.
The family would like to thank Doctor Shipley and staff at
Quinte Gardens
and the exceptional love and care provided by the workers on the
second floor assisted living floor at Quinte Gardens.
Zelda was born and raised in Prince Edward County,
met Eddy
during his posting at Trenton,
moved to Toronto where she worked as a
reception/switchboard operator.
For the past five years Zelda has resided at Quinte
Gardens Retirement Home in Belleville.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer
Society of Belleville
would be greatly appreciated.
