CARMICHAEL, Jean (nee
Black)
With profound sadness we announce the passing of Jean (Jane) Carmichael on
January 21, 2011 at age 78. Peacefully at home in Wellington, ON
surrounded by her loving family and with her loyal dog Suzy nestled beside
her. Born in Dundee, Scotland and immigrated to Canada, arriving in
Halifax at age 16. Jean will be dearly missed by husband Donald of 55
years, daughters Lynn (Dave Smythe) and Donna (Doug Moore) and grand-daughter
Veronica. Predeceased by her parents Jane and John Black and
siblings John, Alex and Dorothy. Special thanks to the wonderful Prince
Edward County Community Care and VON support workers who helped tremendously
during her final weeks.
Cremation has taken place, and no public service
is planned.
