Message: We offer our deepest sympathy and prayers for Denise and all of her family at this difficult time. We have so many wonderful memories of time with Normand & Denise visiting over these past few years. We will always remember the day Normand led us up the largest hill top at Sandbanks sand Dunes with all of us trailing behind him. What a joy it has been to know this fine man and his tremendous knowledge about so many things.
There is a verse by James Barrie that reminds us so clearly who Normand was to us:
Those who bring sunshine into the lives of others cannot keep it from themselves. Normand shared with all of us and influenced our lives in many ways with his kindness.

Message: It is with much gratitude that I look back on Normand's life. We worked together on several projects in Sudbury which were successful in large part due to his insights, experience and practicality. Further, his expertise in editing the newsletter of the Association of Former Basilians was remarkable. The Association is strong in large part because of his work, and this work covered many years. Finally, Normand's expertise was not confined solely to his intellectual gifts, large though they were. On the hockey rink, he could skate like the wind and play more effectively than most. In a word,by his life Normand showed in a wonderful way how one could atttain the much cherished ideal of mens sans in corpore sano.
