Name: Norman Morra
In memory of: Normand Frenette
Message: If I recall correctly Mr Frenette was my teacher at St Michael's College School in the late 1950s. What I remember is his sense of humour and ability to tolerate gibes from some of the more unruly students like myself. He was 21 and I was 14 but never saw any revenge or treatment other than as equals. This was not always the case and I respect him for accepting me--a 14-year-old kid--as a person. There was no sense of superiority or condescension. From one Norman to another--thank you.

Message: I'm so sorry to hear the passing of my cousin Normand. We wrote to each other a few times and he help me with the Frenette Family Tree. I was also waiting for him to write a Book of the Frenette Family. He told me as soon as he did he would send me one. I'm not sure if he started it or finished it yet.
He was a wonderful cousin and will miss writing to him. May he rest in peace and my Heart goes out to all his family and friends. My sympathy and my deepest condolences to each and all of you. Cindy (Frenette) Nickerson.

Message: Because of Normand & his genealogy research, yesterday I visited our ancestor, my 7th great-grandfather, Michel Fernet’s village & the church where he was baptized. Today, I was rereading Normand’s essay “The Frenettes in France & The New World” & looked him up online to say thank you. I’m sorry for your loss. He sounds like he was a wonderful man.

Message: Dear Pauline and family: It has been many years since our time at Sandy Cove Lake Simcoe waterskiing and bonfires with our wonderful Borron family next door. I recognized your children's names and of course the Borron name and unfortunately do not remember your older brother Normand. However I wish to send my sympathies and have fond memories of fun times with Lou-Anne, Randy Janet and Paul (Paulie-wog comes to mind) Michael and I were terrors, I know ....but get along fine, he lives in Thailand most of the time, maybe that has something to do with it ). Anyway, we live in Picton and Toronto (sporadically) and would love to hear from any family above mentioned.

Sincerely Nancy.
