Name: Bill Grimmett
In memory of: Gary Fox
Message: To Lyn and Family:
Vi and I were saddened to hear of Gary's passing. When we first met at Queens Park in 1995, Gary stood out in our caucus with his big personality and his constant friendly grin. We both served four years and all the memories I have of Gary from those days include plenty of laughter. He helped coach our Legiskaters hockey team, which I think meant that he helped the older fellas put their skates on.
Many of us in the PC caucus had grown up on farms, and when Gary hosted a donkey baseball game at his farm there was a good turnout. It was hard to get those donkeys to run the bases.
Gary had a serious side, as well. He was a well-informed and passionate leader on all manner of farming issues, and continued with that work long after his Queens Park years. He had the rare gift off being able to effortlessly engage in friendly conversation with people from all walks of life. He was very proud of his extended family and he was very good at staying in touch with old friends, right to the end.

Message: Our deepest condolences to Lynn and the entire Fox family - In the short time we knew Gary, he made a lasting impression on our household. Whether dropping by on the porch to catch up, saying hi as we walked our puppy by down the road, or pulling over on his tractor to talk, Gary was always straight forward, kind, and the source of a great laugh. I only wish I had been able to take him up on his offer to try his scotch collection before he departed. Life is precious, time is fleeting, and good souls are a gift. Thank you for making these new neighbours feel welcome - Our thoughts are with the extended Fox family.

Message: So sorry and saddened to hear of Gary's passing. Condolences to the entire Fox family.
It was great to reunite with Gary about 10 years ago at the Zone 8 Sheep Meetings. I frequently attended the meetings with my son (Phil Botden, president of zone 8). Before that, I had the pleasure of having Gary as a loyal Prince Edward County customer at Masterfeeds Picton Branch, where I was salesman and manager in the early 1980's. It was always an interesting visit at the branch with Gary's knowledge of agriculture and how he represented and supported Prince Edward as a County. He will be missed by all.
