In memory of: Rev. Stan Whitehouse
Message: Our deepest condolences to the family on the passing beloved “Stan the Man” Whitehouse. Dorothy and George North have many fond and cherished memories of his time at Christ Church and of the feline family especially Magnificat. He will be deeply missed. He was a true example of God’s love in both his example to us all and his great humility. I echo every sentiment written below. He was one of the good ones and we are privileged to have known him. God’s light shined out of his eyes. May he Rest In Peace beside his beloved wife and be at rest. Sincerely George, Dorothy, Nancy and Douglas North and Family.
Name: Marjorie Collins (nee Samson)
In memory of: Stan Whitehouse
Message: My deepest condolences to the family, in particular, Bruce.
As a child my family, the Samson's lived several doors away from the Whitehouse family home. Bruce and my brother Jack among other neighbourhood boys, would play touch football in the churchyard behind our homes. Your mom would blow a whistle when it was time for you to be home for supper.
I also remember Stan taking me to the Transfiguration Sunday School picnic around 1946. I believe we went to Centre Island. My husband Gord Collins and I had our banns read and were married at Transfiguration in 1955.
I had a lovely conversation with Stan many years later here in the County.
