My condolences to Pam's family at this sad time and to her partner, Bill, who traveled to Kingston every day to spend time with the lady he cared for so much and never gave up hope that Pam would someday come home to stay. I knew Pam when my family had Francis Bakery and now Pam and Bill were my neighbors in Wellington. I also traveled every day (but not as far) to see my partner, Bill Thorley until he passed away on March 27. He always thought the world of such a sweet and quiet spoken lady. Pam would ask how Bill Thorley was doing in hospital or nursing home and Bill would ask about Pam up to the point his dementia was progressing of not speaking well. The world is a strange place right now and we can't get together to support each other, but it is such a coincidence to have neighbors side by side to have lost someone so very close to them. Keep a warm place in your heart and Pam will always be there. |
