Name: Kim M Hicks
In memory of: Bryan Shantz
Message: Bryan saved me many times through the years - dead batteries charged, locked keys in car a couple of times (rushing, always rushing lol), tows to the garage, pulled me out of the ditch once - always had a smile on his face and something to make me smile even though I usually didn’t feel like it. I’ll remember him always. Condolences to Darlene, Andrew, Sondra and other family members.

Message: I’ve known you for over thirty years. We’ve gone biking, boating, to the beach, trucking and just out having some fun. We watched our kids grow up and you got to spend some time with your grandchildren. Still, it just wasn’t enough.
Life can take us to different places that we can find a lot of enjoyment from. I can only hope that afterlife does the same.
Sure going to miss you.

In memory of: Bryan Shanz
Message: I am so very sorry to have the news about Bryan. When I first arrived in the County and was on my own for much of the time, Bryan rescued me and my elderly car more than once: from a ditch in the middle of a blizzard, with failed brakes near Milford late one evening and nose to nose with a tree after encountering black ice on a curve. He was unfailingly cheerful, helpful and reassuring. My deepest sympathies to his family and many friends -- he will be sorely missed by all. Jill and John Hill

Message: I have known Bryan since growing up on our farm in Bloomfield, next to his family home. Since that time he was always a hard working, creative individual who I met up with at fire calls, and a time or two for a CAA call for us! A key member of our community who will be dearly missed by friends, colleagues and family.
