Geordie Ashton Philip Ainsworth
Shockingly unexpected, on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at Kingston General Hospital,
aged 47 years, of Tweed, Ontario.
Beloved only son of Philip and Joan (Hendry) Ainsworth of Belleville, ON, previously of Picton and Stirling.
Predeceased by his sister, Sarah, in 2021.
Beloved nephew of Cathy and Garry Hawley of Lethbridge, Alberta.
Also loved by first cousins: Jennifer Miller (Matt Heller and their son, Blake Heller) of Calgary, and Rebecca Miller (Tanner Singer), of Lethbridge, Alberta. Nephew of Mary Hendry (friend Sharon Bradford) and Douglas Hendry (Donna).
Sadly missed by special friend, Megan Bolan, and by his close group of male friends harking back to school days.
Graduate of Centennial Secondary School and of the Industrial Electrical Engineering program at
Loyalist College (Dean’s List) as Electrical Technician. Employed as Co-ordinate Measuring Machine (CCM) Programmer
at Magna Autosystems of Belleville for 26 years with a short stint away at Invista in Kingston.
Cremation entrusted to Ainsworth Funeral Home, 288 Noxon Avenue, Wellington.
Private interment in the Ainsworth family plot in Burr Cemetery, Burr Road, Ameliasburgh.
