Nixon, Leonard

Leonard “Len” Burton Nixon

August 11, 1943 – February 24, 2023

Leonard “Len” Nixon passed away peacefully in the 
Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital, 
on the morning of February 24th, 2023. 
He was 79 years young.

Len was born on August 11th, 1943, in Montreal Quebec to his parents; 
Greta (Ward) and Leon Nixon.

He is survived by his three children, Michael, Donna, and Leanne; his six grandchildren, Jamie, Hunter, Amanda-Lynn, Deanna, Dustin,
and Bradley; his two brothers, Garold (his wife Diane, and sons; Gary & Joseph) and Kenny (his wife Mallorie and their son Steven);
his sister, Myrna (her husband David and their sons; Jeffrey & Mark) Poirier; as well as many close friends.

Len is predeceased by his beloved wife Carmel “Carm” (White) Nixon, 
and his brother Tommy.

Len was a gifted guitarist, a lover of music, a Ham Radio enthusiast, and was never without a joke or a silly comment
to make those around him laugh.  He worked for Hutton’s Transport, St Mary’s Cement until he retired at the age of 63
and moved to New Brunswick with his wife. 
Len will be laid to rest with Carm in Bathurst, New Brunswick, Spring 2023.
