Stock, Lynda

LYNDA MARGARET STOCK
(nee WILMORE)
1946 - 2022

It is in great sadness we announce the sudden passing of our dear Mother.
Raised in Westboro, Ottawa she spent her summers on Round Lake in Renfrew County.
Lynda started her family in Deep River and took up permanent residence in Prince Edward County in 1991
where she raised her two children, and many fur babies, with her husband CJ Stuart Stock (pre-deceased).

Lynda was very much loved, admired and respected by her two children Courtney and Charles James.
She will be greatly missed by her siblings Rod Wilmore and Nicki Wilmore and her in-laws, Margaret (Stock) and Robert Soulsby,
Kim (Ramsay) and Ed Stock, Pam (Stock) and Jed Snyder, and Sharon (Kozak) Stock. Loved by her many cousins, nieces,
nephews and their families.
She will be deeply missed by The Wason’s, The Knitting Club, and as well as her many other friends.

From Lynda’s early years as a Forest Technician in Algonquin Park, to becoming a Professor of Forestry, to working in the Public Sector,
she spent her last years always seeking out another adventure whether it was walking her dogs in the bush or travelling somewhere
new or old, she was always on the move.

Lynda was an active member of the Quinte Curling Club and loved to down-hill ski.
Things that were dearest to her were working and camping amongst the White Pines in Achray of Algonquin park
and relaxing atop of Red Rock Mountain!

Cremation has occurred and a Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
Online condolences may be shared at www.ainsworthfuneralhome.com

In Lynda’s memory, expressions of sympathy can be made by donations to Sandy Pines Wildlife Rescue Centre
in Napanee (sandypineswildlife.org).
