Roberts, Richelle

A loved daughter, granddaughter, and friend,
Richelle Elyse Roberts
left this world unexpectedly, at 38, on September 22, 2022.
Born in Kitchener, Ontario, on April 10, 1984 to Janet Almeda and Glyn Roberts,
Richelle spent most of her early years in Calgary and Ottawa, before moving to Prince Edward County
over a decade ago. Richelle was living and working in Belleville at the time of her death.

From an early age Richelle found joy in music, playing in school bands, and spending extra time helping
other music students learn to play. Richelle pursued music performance with a concentration in clarinet and bass clarinet
at University of Ottawa, where she performed in the university orchestra. A lover of animals, and especially of dogs,
Richelle possessed a calming, gentle touch. She adored her rescue Chihuahuas, Charlie, and Peps, and was devoted to them both.
As a young girl, Richelle spent many happy hours training and showing King, her Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.
Richelle was intelligent and logical, funny and vivacious and capable, and touched numerous lives as a trainer and groomer,
and owner of her business, Gentle Touch Grooming. To hear her laugh was to be caught by her joy.

Adept at needle crafts and a prolific model-builder, Richelle was a gifted maker, producing and selling, as Just For You Arts,
intricate chainmaille and bead-work pieces of her design. Richelle worked at Staples at the time of her death,
a job she loved and where she was thriving.

Richelle was preceded in death by her beloved Nan and Bub, Eva and Morley Maracle and Grandma Liz, Elizabeth Roberts.
She leaves behind her mother, Janet Almeda (Mark), and father Glyn Roberts (Jane Macdonald).
Beloved friend of Elizabeth Rand, loved niece of Scott Maracle, Stacey Quigley, and Vanda Spencer, and of Terri Lynn Almeda,
also Maryann and Alan (deceased) Roberts, and of Mary Macdonald, and Colin Stanners.
Loved cousin to Julie Conger, Morley and Matt Maracle, Ashley Quigley, and of Gary and Bryan Roberts, Lila and Finn Stanners.
Richelle is deeply missed.

A Celebration of Life will be held 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 29th, 2022
