Felhaber, Hazel Irene

HAZEL IRENE FELHABER
Peacefully passed away on February 28th, 2022 in Belleville, ON at the age of 100.
Born in Killaloe and raised in Pembroke, her career took her to Huntsville
where she worked for years with the Ministry of Natural Resources and retired.
Predeceased by her parents, Helena (Ristau) and William Felhaber, her seven siblings and their spouses:
Gordon (Margaret), Rueben (“Issy”), Ethel Hein (George), Harold (Florence), Willard (Joyce),
Myrt Ryckman (Nelson Cornell and Charlie) and Martha Smith (Charles).
“Aunt Hazel” is survived by multiple generations of Nieces and Nephews.
We will cherish our memories of an inspirational, fun loving and stylish Aunt who blessed us with her love.
She will be fondly remembered by extended family and friends.

Hazel was always active; playing bridge, curling, golfing, travelling and volunteering.
She loved to cook and entertain. Kind and generous, she baked for St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church bake sales into her 90s.

As per her wishes, cremation has taken place.
A private graveside service will be held in the Spring at the First Baptist Church Cemetery in Pembroke.
