Stacey, Carl

Passed away peacefully at his home in Picton,
surrounded by his family on
Friday, March 26th, 2021
CARL ROGER STACEY
At the age of 77


 

Loving husband to Joan Stacey for 53 years.
He will be greatly missed by his sons, Joe (Kim) of Bloomfield, Bill (Darlene) of Picton and Marty (Andrea) of Toronto.
Special Poppa to Kyle, Jordan, Kaleb, Maria, Avery and Quinn.
Survived by his siblings Keith Stacey (Nina) and Doris Armstrong (Ross) and
predeceased by siblings Marguerite Hamilton and Marvin Stacey.
Fondly remembered by his mother-in-law Mary Frederick, his special cousin Gerald (Carole),
his nieces and nephews and their families and many, many dear friends.

Family was special to Carl and his love for them was strong. He loved those family reunions.

Carl was an avid sportsman from a young age. He played on multiple Ontario Championship teams of hockey and baseball. 
 He was a dedicated coach to county young people including the Wellington “Miracle Squirts” softball team of 1983.
He was a multi-time winner of the Picton Men’s Golf Championship. He loved his golf.

Special thanks to the BGH Oncology Dept, the Prince Edward Family Health team especially Amber, Dr. Charriere
and for the dedicated care provided by Donita, Jennifer, Andrew and Peggy of Bayshore. 

Cremation has taken place and due to Covid restrictions
a gathering to celebrate Carl’s Life will be announced and held at a later date.
