Back to Obituaries/Notices
Johnston, Dorothy

It is with much sadness and sorrow that we must say

goodbye to our loving Mother, Grandmother, Auntie and

devoted friend
Dorothy Ada Johnston,
who passed away

Wednesday 28th January 2015,
in her 92nd year.

Dorothy Johnston
Although a proud resident of

Wellington for over 27 years of her life, she had most

recently moved to Elder Care in Bloomfield where she was

lovingly cared for and pampered by the wonderful owners and

staff there. At the time of her passing, she was surrounded
by family and friends.

She will be forever remembered by her loving children

Robert (Orlinda), and daughter Randee (Roger), and her

beloved grandchildren Gregory (Maryann), Peter and Jasmine

and her Great grandchildren Abbey and Callum. Lovingly

remembered by brothers Thomas (Adeline) and Patrick (Linda).

A special Aunt to many nieces and nephews. Dorothy was

predeceased by her parents, Jack and Ada Fraser, her husband

of over 55 years, William Warren (Bud), eldest brother

David and her sister in law Beverly.  Dorothy will be fondly

remembered by step grandson Jeramie and his son Emry.

Dorothy so loved being around her friends and family,

nothing pleased her more than sharing simple and special

occasions in the presence of those she cared so much about.

All those whose life she touched, will never forget her.

A Memorial Service will be held at the

Ainsworth Funeral Home,
288 Noxon Avenue, Wellington
on Tuesday, February 3rd, 2015 at 11:00 a.m.
Friends may visit with the family from 10 a.m. until time of service.
Reverend Andrew Wilson officiating

A small donation to the Elder Care Retirement Home in

Bloomfield would certainly have pleased Dorothy or a

donation to the charity of your choice, in her memory would

be greatly appreciated by the family.
