We are sad to announce the sudden passing of our uncle,
Monty Lawrence Kellar
of Wellington
on Friday, March 17th, 2023
at the age of 69.
Predeceased by his parents, Merton Kellar and Dorothy (nee Preston) and his sister Gail Ellsworth.
He will be sadly missed by his nieces and nephews Debbie (Geoff), Noel (Brenda),
Anna (Tom), Cole (Amy), Matthew, Amanda, London and Aubrey.
Monty was frequently seen walking the streets of Wellington or Picton greeting animals, friends and strangers alike.
Often seen assisting his sister in the MS drives and other local fundraisers. He was an avid music fan, collector, car enthusiast
and he loved animals and kids. Ready and willing to share good laughs and trivia knowledge with anyone.
His laughter will be missed.
A Memorial Service will be held at the
Ainsworth Funeral Home,
288 Noxon Avenue, Wellington
on Saturday, March 25th at 11:00 a.m.
Reverend Nancy Beale officiating.
A private burial will be held in the spring, where he will be laid to rest at Christ Church Cemetery, Hillier.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the MS Society, Diabetes Canada or your local Humane Society
would be appreciated by the family.
