Shantz, Bryan

BRYAN SHANTZ
October 3rd, 1963 to February 6th, 2023

Surrounded by his loving family,
Bryan passed away at Lennox & Addington Hospital
on February 6th, 2023
at the age of 59 after a hard fought battle with cancer.
He was the much loved son of the late Allan Shantz and Patricia Shantz and brother of Shelly Larkan (Rory).
He was the most beloved husband and partner in life for over 40 years of Darlene (Grimmon)
and the best Dad in the world to Andrew (Whitney) and Sondra (Mike).
He always greeted his 5 grandchildren Bentley, Holden, Noah, Elyse and Allie
with the biggest of hugs and smiles and will be deeply missed by us all.

The Shantz Towing family is missing him very much, as Bryan was well known in this community as someone
who was always there to help others.  His kindness, big heart, sense of humour, honesty and the ability to take on
any task when others thought it was impossible was his trademark.  He always told us we could do anything if we set our mind to it.
He was a life coach and trusted friend to so many for he was always willing to help.  Bryan worked very hard his whole life starting young with his parent’s business and building up to the towing/garage business over the last 35 years.  Along the way we shared many wonderful adventures in life for when you were with Bryan life was never boring and so many have a great Bryan story to tell.
We are all going to miss his wonderful smile, his stories, the laughter and how loved he made us feel.
