Jackson, Muriel

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our dear sweet mother 
Muriel Jackson (nee Lavender) 
in her 98th year. 



She passed away peacefully at Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital
on Wednesday August 18th, 2021 with her family by her side.
She will be lovingly remembered by her family.
Beloved wife of the late Gordon Jackson. Dearest Mom of Shirley (Ron) and Tom.
Much loved Grandma of Sean (Kris) and Jennifer (Ian).
Cherished Great Grandma of Marc (Ceilidhe), Troy, Ben, Josh and Danny.
She is survived by her sisters Dorothy Courneyea (late Hermie) and Judy Channell (Wayne).
Predeceased by her parents Charles and Irene Lavender, her dear sister Bernice and brothers Raymond and Wesley.
She leaves behind many nieces and nephews who will miss her.  

Muriel was a county girl, homemaker and worked at Campbell Soup (mushroom plant) for many years
and was the best Mom, Grandma and Great Grandma ever.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to Dr. Wattam, Mary Stevers, Dr.Lindsay Handcock
and the exceptional staff second floor Picton hospital, to CCAC and her caring and beloved PSW’s Barb and Dawn,
the VON smile program Catharine and Tamara, her foot care specialist Anita, the professional staff at Wellington Pharmacy,
her friends Dick MacArthur and June Ross, and to her many friends at the Legion Manor especially Jeanette
and to Wendy and Keith who take such great care of everyone at the Manor.

Cremation has taken place and friends may call at the
Ainsworth Funeral Home , 288 Noxon Avenue, Wellington 
on Thursday September 2nd 6-8pm. 
Funeral service will be held in Wellington Cemetery on Friday, September 3rd at 1:00 pm.
Reverend Steve Spicer officiating. Interment Wellington Cemetery.
