McMillan, Ronald

Ron was born April 24, 1941 in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia to the late Anthony and Winnie (George) McMillan. Ron was member of the RCAF for more than 35 years.  His trade was Traffic Tech and included 14 years as a Loadmaster with more than 6,700 flying hours. 

While serving in the RCAF, Ron was based at St. Jean, QC, Borden, ON, Grostenquin and Merville, France, Summerside PEI, Winnipeg, MB, Trenton, ON and Lahr, Germany.

He is survived by his wife Marlyn, stepchildren Penny, Lyn and Stephen, grandchildren John, Tyler, Ryan, Nichole and Holly and Great-Grandchildren Taylor, Charlotte, Braden and Lily. Sisters Anita, Janet, Elizabeth, brothers Paul (Rita) and Frances (Shirley). He was predeceased by brothers Hugh, John, James and Edward, sisters Sara and Mary.

Cremation has taken place and interment will be at Wellington Cemetery.
Ron was a life member of the Royal Canadian Legion with more than 50 years of service. 

A celebration of life will be held at the Wellington Legion Branch 160
at a later date.
