As mentioned in the tribute, I too recall Pearl's baking and I am sure that there was never an empty cookie jar in your home. Pearl is the end of an era for the neighbourhood.

In memory of: Aunt Pearl Margaretson Message: To my wonderful cousins and their families. Where to start. When you are younger there's people within your life that are always there. As support, for a get together, a ride to church events or school band outings. Your entire family has been that for me throughout my life. I cannot thank you all enough. I clearly recall going to the pink trailer with Granny Hardy for swimming with my cousins. .Aunt Pearl always had Popsicles. .white ones! And of course. .her cookies! Fond memories for sure. Her and Uncle Ralph's love story was a favourite of mine. And how both of them sat upstairs while the loud parties went on downstairs was testament of their love for their children and ALL their many friends. Sleep peacefully Aunt Pearl. .I'm sure you've got a welcoming committee waiting for you. Love always

Know that your mom (and dad) and you all, back in 1975, just the other day, made Canada home for me on what could have been a lonely first year at college away from my family in England. I had the most wonderful Thanksgiving dinner and was able to feel that my native land had welcomed me back. Your family openheartedness has stayed with me forever. May your parents have met up together in a peaceful place, looking down protectively on you and your families and so grateful for all the love and care of these last years. In memory of: Pearl Margetson Message: Our sincerest condolences on the loss of your mother. She was every bit a beautiful lady and leaves behind a family that she and Ralph have every reason to be proud of. My earliest memory of Pearl was her bringing lunch and the kids to North Beach Park to meet up with Ralph on his lunch hour there. As a beach patrol staff member on duty back in the late 1960s I recall getting a frequent invitation from her to grab a bite to eat as I walked the beach. Always a ready smile and a warm welcome!
