Message: Dear Ruth, Debbie and family,
Don and I were so saddened to hear of the passing of Ron and we have been praying for your strength and comfort. Ron will be remembered for his amazing smile, zest for life and his positive connection to others. Ron was a larger than life figure when I was growing up……. flying over Burleigh Falls for Aunt Olive’s birthday and living in ‘exotic places.” His personal relationship with Jesus and his love of his family are his lasting legacy. We will continue to pray for you during this difficult time. Loving hugs, Heather and Don.

Message: Ruth and Deb, I was so sorry to hear the news of Ron's passing. I so enjoyed seeing Ron prior to Co-Vid at our annual ASCVI Staff Christmas Reunions. He was an incredible man, a wonderful teacher and a great colleague. All of my memories evoke images of his everpresent easy smile and gentle laughter; he truly enjoyed teaching, and the company of both students and colleagues. I am holding you and all your family in my thoughts and prayers.

In memory of: Ron Mace
Message: I remember Ron when his family first lived in the Hatton wartimes estate in Peterborough, which they left for the cottages at Burleigh Falls. Many years later i am at a car rental on Aylmer St., I gave my name to the agent then from behind me a voice says Emil Varga ,how are you and I look at the person and I say Ron Mace how are you. If my memory serves me right the F86 jet at the Peterborough Zoo is the one he flew. RIP

Message: We are so sad for the passing of our cousin and grieve with family. Ron was 13 years older than me, and I always looked up to him with awe. I often remember wonderful days spent spent at Uncle Russ's cabins and island. I am so grateful for Ron's deep faith that many of us share. Teen Challenge is one of several charities that we support, and I volunteer at the one in New Brunswick on a weekly basis. We are happy to make a donation in Ron's name. God bless you all.

Message: Dear Ruth, Debbie & Family: I was sorry to hear that our great friend and colleague Ron has passed. What a double fab teacher he was and what a wonderful family he had. Ron was full of faith and good cheer and a positive attitude that ennobled his world. He carved his name on people's hearts--not in marble. I am sure this is a difficult time for the family, but wherever a beautiful soul has been there is ALWAYS a trail of beautiful memories. Hopefully, each of you will find those beautiful memories, as I have, too. One does not EVER forget Ron. He was the best of all of us as an educator and a person. His spirit will live on in everyone--family, friends and students--FOREVER. In fact, if I were sitting across the porch from God, I'd thank Him for bringing Ron into my life. Well done Ron. And of course, as a fellow educator, I need to give you a mark for your trip through life! I was always a "timid" marker (versus a "reckless" one) but I am giving you ONE of the FEW 100% marks I have ever given. Thanks for bring a rainbow to so many of us. I truly believe his epitaph should read NO REGRETS.
