Message: To Darlene and family,

I'm very sorry to hear that Sterling has passed. He was a good man, very kind-hearted, helpful, and honest, a beautiful soul. He took my Mom and I to Kingston a few times when she had her cancer treatments, and it was always a pleasure to ride with him, and visit with him during the drive. He will definitely be missed. My heart goes out to all of you.

From Cub Scouts to Queen's Park he was a positive influence on my life, as I'm sure he was to many others. A community activist on so many levels. He will be sorely missed. My sincerest condolences.
