In memory of: Dr. Leroy Hall
Message: Sincerest condolences to all of Dr. Hall's family and friends, especially his wife, Maureen and his children and grandchildren. Dr. Hall was a huge part of this community, and a wonderful doctor to those who were fortunate enough to have him as a doctor. Our family was fortunate and happy to have as a family doctor. He was always available in the tough times and he never rushed anyone through and appointment, much to the dismay of those waiting in the waiting room. A very gentle man, my children loved him too. He is a man who didn't forget names, at least not the names of us and our children. When we met him somewhere outside of his office, he always had a bit of time to chat and later on he would ask about our children and where they were and what they were doing. Maureen, stood steadfastly behind him, and endured the late office hours and his busy schedule. And she too is pleasant and knows us on the streets too. He will be missed by many, us included. We pray that all of you will be granted all you stand in need as you grieve and mourn the huge loss in your lives. Blessings as you spend family time together in a difficult time. Lynda and Bill Westervelt

Message: Maureen and Family: it is with sadness that I read of Dr. Hall's passing. In the 1960's my mother, Ursula (Lou) Besteman worked in Dr. Hall's office and of course became our family physician. I clearly remember his kind, assuring manner and that welcoming smile. Please accept my sincere condolences for your loss and know that he will be remembered fondly by so many people whose lives he touched throughout his remarkable career.

Message: We were here in the 70’s, we saw a lot of Leroy & Maureen at the hockey games as our boys were the same age. In the playoffs against Campbellford, and in their town one year Dr. Hall and I got riding the Homer referee a little hard, eventually he came over and threw us both out of the arena. We didn’t leave however we did quiet down.
This fun story has been told many times around our kitchen table, with lots of laughs and happy memories! Leroy was one of the best and with Maureen they made a great couple, he will be missed.

Message: Family, I am so very sorry for your loss. Dr. Hall leaves behind a legacy of babies birthed, lovingly cared for his patients, a humanitarian who gave of himself. I'm one of those babies he brought into this world, a patient when he was my family physician, and also when he had the ENT clinic. He was a great man, I'm so privileged to have had him as my caregiver. I don't need to tell you that you should be proud of him, because I know you already are. He touched so many lives, it's impossible to count.

May your memories comfort you.
