I just now learned of Hazel´s passing. It´s been many years since I have had contact with her. Probably not since my mom´s passing 15 years ago. She and Mom were good friends and Hazel was one of her bridesmaids. Such a warm lady. I am sure her nieces and nephews will miss her in their lives.

I always admired Hazel and her enthusiasm. We often sat together at St. Andrews and. shared stories before and after service. She invited me to her lovely apartment a few times. and treated me fo her tasty goodies. I always enjoyed our telephone chats when she kept me up to date of Family visits.
She was so thankful for your kindness and care. I
treasure wonderful memories of Hazel..

Hazel was on the hiring committee in the summer of 1977 when I joined the Ministry of Natural Resources. She became my mentor from the very beginning. Her good examples of fairness and hard work inspired me to follow in her foot steps and further my career in Human Resources work.
We socialized, had a close friendship which continued into my retirement. She was one in a million. Thank you Sandra and all her nieces and nephews for taking such good care of your Aunt! She was special and will be missed. Charlene and Derryk Renton
