Message: So sad to hear of Mike's passing, I worked with Mike for several years at Purolator ,he was truly an inspirational leader who I had an a lot of respect for. He set an excellent example of what a leader should be. He was very down to earth and was able and willing to talk to anyone. His sense of humour was legendary and what I liked most about him. Thanks for making work fun. Rest in peace Mike and my condolences to your family.

Message: My sincere condolences to the Boucher family. My first thought when I heard the news was "he was such a nice man". I worked with him at Purolator for 14 years and remember he always had a smile & hello when he saw you. He even remembered your name. A true professional. We were lucky to have him as part of our team.

Message: My deepest condolences to Michele and Hilary, and extended Boucher families on Mike’s passing. Although we lost touch over time, Mike and I enjoyed many good times back in the 70’s and 80’s. Our road trip to California (& Saskatoon!) was our longest adventure together, and one I’ll never forget. Quick to laugh, and kind of heart, Mike will be missed by all who shared time with him.

Message: Leona and I were saddened to hear of Mike's illness and passing. He was remarkable individual, and we feel privileged to have known him for over 35 years. Having worked with him for 22 years I can echo the comments that have made by so many others. When I think of Mike the following words come to mind describing him. Compassion and caring, integrity, wit, intelligence and love. That love shone through in his career and dedication to Purolator, but most importantly in his love for family. Michele and Hilary, be comforted in knowing how much Mike touched the heart of everyone who knew him.

Message: For me, Mike was a colleague and a friend, but more importantly for others, Mike was a wonderful human being, he was a hard-working  conscientious family man and was always a pleasure to be around. Mike had the ability to find humour in almost any situation and that often came with his patented head shake, huge smile and deep laugh. I will miss my friend dearly and I will be forever grateful that I was able to spend some time visiting with Mike in hospice. My thoughts, prayers and wishes are with Michele, Hilary and all of their friends and family.

Message: Dear Michele, Hilary and family,

Please accept my sincere condolences for your loss. I’m very saddened by Mike’s passing. I worked at Purolator for 34 years and have known Mike for at least 20 of those. I had the pleasure of working with him more directly in the ladder part of my career and thoroughly enjoyed his no nonsense approach. Mike offered his support at an uncertain time in my career and I will always remember him as a very approachable leader that genuinely cared about people.

Message: Dear Hilary and Michele.
I’m so very sorry for your loss. I have many memories of you dining at the bar at flame and smith and over the last 4 years, getting to know your whole family better. He was a wonderful, kind, caring man, always engaging to speak with and showing genuine interest in our staff, and our family. You have all been strong supporters of us during COVID and I can recall us both having a sense of relief when I saw him again dining indoors.
He even recorded television episodes for us when we couldn’t figure it out.

Much love and healing from Hidde and I, we are thinking of you all.
