Message: Dear Ejna
This is beyond my comprehension that Ray is gone. I am so sorry for your loss. You both have been in my thoughts lately and I was going to try to connect when we were in the County. I am so saddened for you and your family. I have such precious memories of you both. You were both so inspiring and loving to me during my teenage years. The horses, your farm and your laughter. My heart goes out to you. Know you are in my thoughts and I am sending much love. I am glad you have your children close by. Hugs and my love Dagny

Message: Dear Ejna & family. So sorry for your loss. I feel privileged that when I started my policing career in 1994 to have had Ray as my coach officer. He demonstrated integrity, humour, and most of all love for his family during the months I rode shotgun with him. Throughout my career I quoted him many times, passing on his wisdom to new officers. My first few months with Ray left the biggest impression on me out of my 30 years of policing. He will be greatly missed. Paige Whiting

Message: Dear Ejna & family, I personally first met Ray when he moved to the County & lived across the road from my parents on London Avenue. As years passed, it was obvious how much Ray loved Ejna & his family & I know his passing will leave a great void in your hearts always. Please accept our sincere sympathy and wishes for strength & comfort through this most difficult time, sincerely, Carol & Mark Woodward
