His quiet demeanor coupled with a determined attitude to "get the job done" drew my immediate respect. Most of all I enjoyed his friendship, his hospitality, and the laidback conversations we occasionally had. In memory of: Dan Bakker Message: Our deepest sympathy goes out to Sandy and to Dan's extended family. Dan has been our neighbour since the early 1950s. He will be missed greatly by all who knew him. One of the many occasions when he helped us was when our machinery storage shed burned. He was first on the scene and was a great source of advice and help as we dealt with the aftermath of that loss. Rest in peace dear neighbour.
