In memory of: Peter Sztuke Message: I am so sorry to read about Pete who gave so much to this community and who I remember as being so full of life. I must have missed his obituary in the paper - I haven’t been reading newspapers, while trying my best to live with significant pain and lack of mobility after an injury at the beginning of April. Sending Pat and the whole family and all of Pete’s good friends much love. I’ll keep you in my prayers as you go through this very difficult period in your lives without your wonderfully kind, generous-spirited, community-minded Peter. Losing him is a big loss for the County as well as for you, and I know for all his many good friends too. He certainly shared his zest for life with me and many others. And I will not forget him, or you Pat.

In memory of: Peter Sztuke Message: Hi Pat and Chris, I am sorry to hear of the loss of Peter! I have so many wonderful memories of times spent with him! I can not say enough about his kind heart and his willingness to do "whatever" it took to support the development of Camp Trillium on Garratt's Island! He gave so much of himself to ensure the children and families at camp were taken care of and had all that they needed. He will be missed my many! Thinking of you all! Pauline

In memory of: Peter Sztuke Message: Dear Pat and Family, I am so sad to hear of Peter's passing. Somewhere he is out there creating and making good things happen for our universe - that bit of the Creator/Holy Spirit given to each of us for eternity. I consider my time on Council with Peter one of great learning and great comradeship. It was thanks to his suggestion, during that time, that my insurance company agreed to pay for half of my wind tortured roof - it wasn't easy to get but I have remained braver ever since. Occasionally, I would stop in for coffee time at the Tall Poppy with the all male enclave. While welcomed by most, I was always grateful when I found myself sitting beside Peter. As opinions and solutions poured forth, there was always some humour about those moments that passed between us. He was a gentleman whose presence will be missed. My sympathies. Monica
