Brant, Blaine

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of
Blaine Edward Brant

at the age of 82 years
on Thursday, August 24th, 2023.

Cherished husband of Rose Marie Brant (Cluting) for 59 years.
He will be lovingly remembered by his son Jeff and daughter-in-law Sheryl Brant.
“Dom” was loved immensely by his grandchildren, Zachery Brant and wife Tory, Tessa Brant and partner Matt Gilbert.
Son of the late Sylvester and Rose Brant.
Survived by siblings, Elinor Andrews (Irvine“Curly”), Harris Brant (Laurel) and predeceased by sister Gloria Stone (Doug).
He will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.

The family would like to extend a special thank you for the compassionate care provided by Dr. Burke and Dana, Dr. Baldwin,
and the heartfelt kindness shown by Colleen and Tammy, Theresa, and the entire staff of H.J. McFarland Home
for their wonderful care of Blaine.

Blaine was strong, gracious and kind on this final leg of his journey, and lived every day caring for,
and surrounded by the love of his family and friends.
Blaine had a passion for nature and spending time outdoors,
working in his many gardens or tinkering away on a project in his shop. He could always be counted on
to lend a helping hand no matter where or when or for whomever was in need.

As per Blaine’s wishes, cremation has taken place and an
interment at Cherry Valley Cemetery will happen at a later date for the family.

Memorial donations to PEC Memorial Hospital Back the Build (www.backthebuild.ca)
or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.

Blaine was such a caring and thoughtful man, and will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.
His generous heart and selflessness towards others will never be forgotten.
In our memories and hearts he will live forever.
