Hennebury, Burgess

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of
Burgess Hennebury
of Picton on July 9th, 2023
at the age of 85

Son of Thomas Hennebury and Elizabeth Collins.
Brother of the late Betty Hennebury and late Austin Hennebury.
Cherished husband of Claire Cook for 48 years.
Lovingly remembered by daughters Trina Rosborough (Rod) and Wendy Leblanc (Skip). Grandsons Jason Butts (Rebecca),
Adam Rosborough (Adelaide) and Chris Rosborough (Lacy). Great-grandchildren Ada, Evie and Elliott.

Burgess had a passion for music which led him to sing at weddings and with barbershop members.
He would often break out in song (loudly) when it was least expected. He had a great sense of humour and loved to tell jokes.
He could always be counted on to lend a hand no matter where or when or for whomever.
His encyclopedic like mind was full of knowledge - he was the “go to guy” if you needed an answer to anything.
He will be greatly missed by friends and family.

No service as per his wishes, however a celebration of life will be held in August.
Online condolences may be shared at www.ainsworthfuneralhome.com

In his own words - he is running like the wind.
