It is with deep sadness that we announce
the passing of our dear Mother

BERNICE CHANNELL
(nee Lavender)
In her 93rd  year

She passed away peacefully at Hallowell House, Picton 
on Saturday, March 7th 2020
She will be fondly remembered by her family.

Beloved wife of the late Leon Channell. 
Dear Mom of Nancy, Sally (Thom) and Tom (Jackie).
Loving Grandma of Rebecca (Curtis), Rachel (Billy), Caitlin (Spencer), Christian (Tanya),
Nicholas (Stephanie) and Christopher (Tashaa).

She also had 11 great grandchildren.
She is survived by three sisters, Muriel Jackson (late Gordon), Dorothy Courneyea (late Herman)
and Judy Channell (Wayne).  Predeceased by her parents Charles and Irene Lavender and
her brothers Raymond and Wesley.  She has many nieces and nephews that will miss her.

Bernice was a long-time resident of Wellington who worked at Campbell Soup (Mushroom Plant) for 18 years.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to Dr. Norah Connell and the caring family
at Hallowell House, PSWs, VON Smile program and Community Care.

On Tuesday, March 10th  from 6-8 p.m.
Funeral Service will be held at the Wellington United Church 
on Wednesday, March 11th  at 11:00 a.m.  
Reverend Steve Spicer officiating.

Spring Interment Wellington Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the 
PEC Memorial Hospital “Back the Build” campaign 
or the Residents Council at Hallowell House.
