Ferris, Natalie

With great sadness we announce the passing of
 Natalie Theresia Ferris 
of Wellington, Ontario, 
who died peacefully on December 15th, 2019 
in her 87th year, with her children by her side.

Natalie, “Schatzi”, is survived by her loving partner Brian Beasant.
Beloved Mother of Iris (Brian) Andrews, Monica Johnston (Paulus), Sonja Johnston (Michael), and Ivan Johnston (Leonie).
Natalie will be forever cherished by her grandchildren, Joseph, Ian, Candice, Tyler, Natalia, Taio, Shannon, Ryan, Jake and Brandon.
She is fondly remembered by her great grandchildren.  Natalie was pre-deceased by her loving 
husbandLavern Johnston (1982), 
and by Earlby Ferris (1999).

Natalie immigrated to Canada from Germany in 1959, and raised her family in Toronto with her husband Lavern,
after which she lived in Creemore and Barrie before moving to Wellington.  
A talented floral designer, Natalie was also passionate about quilting, and created beautiful handmade cards
that will be treasured by her family and friends. Natalie was a woman of great faith and embodied all things good.
She volunteered at hospitals and brightened the days of ailing friends. She had a great love of animals, birds and wildlife.
Natalie’s love will warm her family and friends’ hearts forever.

Natalie’s family wish to give heartfelt thanks to Dr. Christie, Lianne, Brittany,
and the entire health and palliative care team who provided outstanding compassionate care.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on
Friday, December 20th, 2019 at 1:00 pm

at St. Gregory the Great Roman Catholic Church, 7 Church Street, Picton, ON
In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to Hospice Prince Edward or charity of choice.
