Ford, Jodie

Our family would like to announce the sudden passing of
JODIE FORD
(nee: Lavender)
At the age of 66

Jodie was a loving and dedicated wife and mother.  She held her family close to her soul.
She was generous and giving to everyone in her life.
She was given the gift of life, and it is with a heavy heart that she gave it back.
This is hard. But she was a very wonderful woman, who led a blessed existence, and for this she was grateful.
She loved life and lived it to the fullest. She decided to be joyful about having had a happy life,
regardless of the challenges she faced. Amazingly, this outlook worked for her.
She is now at peace. And on that upbeat note, she takes her mortal leave of
this rollicking, beautiful revolving world – the sun and the moon.

She would want you all to know the loving and wonderful family she had.
She was the beloved and devoted wife of Ted Ford,
who spent every moment by her side, through the good times and the bad.
Loving mother of Chad (Dina) and Jaime,
Nana is tenderly remembered by her grandchildren, Reily, Abi, Avery, Olivia, Colton and Jack.
Predeceased by mother Lamoine and father Gordon Lavender.
Jodie is a much loved sister of Lynn, Pat (Dirk), Tracey, her baby brother David (Michelle),
Dianne (Keith), Paul (Veronica), and Marg (John).
Also remembered by many nieces and nephews, Stephanie, Shawn, Samantha, Jordyn, and Ashley.
She will be lovingly remembered  by many other family members and great friends.

Friends are invited to visit with the family on
Saturday, October 20th from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the
AINSWORTH FUNERAL HOME,
288 NOXON AVENUE, WELLINGTON
